Presented by 7-Eleven Hawai’i, SAFEWAY and JN Automotive, the annual Laulima Giving Day at Windward Mall will be a ginger-scented experience at the 6th Annual Gingerbread ‘Ohana Fest on

The Laulima Giving Program is a partnership between Keiki O Ka ʻĀina Family Learning Centers and KHON2.
“This year, we are excited to bring back the ‘ohana tradition of decorating gingerbread houses at the festival and experiencing the magic of Christmas through the eyes of a child,” said Momi Akana, Keiki O Ka ʻĀina Family Learning Center executive director.
“It’s a free event, open to the public, with continuous live entertainment throughout the day.”
“The Laulima Giving Program is a vital lifeline for our local community and has served more than 230,000 needy individuals here in Hawaiʻi,” said Michael Wong, Laulima Giving Program business development specialist. “We’ve assisted struggling keiki, kūpuna, and ʻohana throughout the year, thanks to the generous donations from people and businesses. Our program, one of the many at the Keiki O Ka ʻĀina Family Learning Centers, depends exclusively on these donations.” Donations include cash, school supplies, clothing, shoes, household items, new unwrapped toys, and gift cards.
The 2024 goal for Laulima Giving Program is to raise over $500,000 in cash and in-kind donations.
