Laulima Telethon, To bring together many hands to bless those who struggle

Thursday, December 19th 2024
In concert with our media partner KHON2 and the CW. Hosted by Kelly Simek

We are excited to announce that this years Laulima Telethon will be hosted at the spectacular Kahala Hotel & Resort. General Manager Joe Ibarra and his team have been consistent supports and this year they’re taking it to the next level.

The Laulima Giving Program Telethon is the program’s final fundraising campaign event for the year.

Taking place in the beginning of December, Keiki O Ka ‘Aina and local business volunteers collect credit card and/or check donations via phone. You can help a family in need during the holiday season by picking up your phone. No donation is too small.

Hosted by our broadcast media partner, KHON2, the telethon will be seen statewide on KHON2 & CW in the morning – from 4:30 am to 10 am – and then again in the afternoon – from 4 pm to 8 pm.

Kelly Simek and Lance,

“the Laulima elf,” bring so much energy to the airwaves, interviewing generous donors of hotel stay-cations, retail, and restaurant gift cards, sharing heartfelt Laulima stories, introducing fabulous entertainers, and reminding the engaged viewers how to make their credit card donations.

The donations collected will give a hand-up to local keiki, kupuna, and `ohana who are struggling statewide.
